Which Security Applications Are The Best?

Many people ask me what I recommend when it comes to security software, so here are my #1 spots for Anti-Virus Suites, and Anti-Spyware apps. 

For Anti-Virus Suite -

Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0

The suite includes an Anti-Virus, Firewall (Zonealarm), Anti-Spyware, and Spam Filter.

I have been seeing customers that have switched over from Norton and McAfee  to Kaspersky finding Trojans that went undetected by their previous Anti-Virus suites.  Kaspersky is a top of the line company, with a top of the line product. http://www.kaspersky-store.com/internet_security.html

CounterSpy v2.0

So why not Webroot's Spy Sweeper or Spyware Doctor?  I believe CounterSpy is better due to its lighter foot print.  It won't slow your system down.  But any of these three are excellent in my opinion, if you're just looking at effectiveness.

But only CounterSpy holds my #1 spot.
